PRATHAM UDYOG Group was founded by Mr. R.K. Agarwal in 1997. R.K. Agarwal is a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (1978 Batch) from IIT Kanpur. Since his graduation, Mr. Agarwal has worked with various reputed organizations. He started with Indian Aluminium Co. Ltd., a multinational and subsidiary of Canadian Aluminium Company- ALCAN. He worked here for 14 years. He then worked as Works Manager with Caprihans India Ltd and as a Chief Executive with Jay Agrochem Ltd. for about three years each.
In 1997, Mr. Agarwal established Pratham Udyog and started manufacturing Stearates of various metals. For almost seven years we are supplying these chemicals along with other PVC stabilizers such as TBLS, DBLS, DBLP etc to a score of PVC pipe manufacturers in India. Besides PVC pipe industry, we are also supplying chemicals to Cable Industry, Paint Industry, PVC/PP Compounding Industry etc. Many of our clients are ISO certified too. The company has well-established manufacturing facilities, supported by the laboratory and technical staff. The flagship company Pratham Udyog has been converted to a Ltd concern in December 2003 and renamed as Pratham Stearchem Pvt. Ltd.
The company has its factories located at Narol & Bareja in Ahmedabad. Well-trained staff and workforce manage the factory. The current strength is about 50 persons.
